These Hemp Bed Sheets Could Be the Newest Thing to Hit the Market

 Hemp is a sustainable resource and has been used for thousands of years to make textiles and yarns. It has been used as a medicine, food, building material, fuel, paper and as a textile to name just a few. It is one of the more environmentally friendly plants we can grow for these purposes on our planet.  It is easy to grow with very little weeding required and no pesticides or herbicides needed. It replenishes the soil it is grown in because of its deep root systems and it can be harvested over and over again. Hemp could be the future of sustainable living if utilized correctly. So why haven’t we seen this plant become more popular? Although hemp was used in World War II to make paper, sails, uniforms and other materials hemp was criminalized with the Marijuana Tax Act in 1937. This act made it illegal to grow any form of cannabis without a permit which was nearly impossible to acquire. After this time the hemp industry died until recently when Colorado legalized the plant allowi
